My Data Base, Service, Modifications, Rebuilds and New
I
have
done
a
number
of
Projects
over
the
years
and
have
some
awesome
memories
and
lots
of
satisfaction
on
completion
of
them.
Don’t
be
mistaken,
I had a few bad times and frustrations, but all in all everything turned out okay and that makes me happy.
I
built
this
website
to
easily
document
some
projects
for
my
own
library
and
knowledge
base
,
but
if
anyone
can
get
some
ideas
and
benefit
from
it,
that’s great.

My
journey
with
these
projects
start
around
1997.
We
bought
a
house
in
Jan
Cilliers
park,
Welkom,
and
here
most
of
my
projects
were
pertaining
to
the
house,
fixing,
repairing,
improving,
extending
and just generally making it a comfortable home for my family.
The
house
did
not
have
garage,
so
naturally
I
needed
a
garden/tool
shed
of
sorts.
My
brother-in-
law,
Sean
Mains-Sheard,
helped
me
source
some
durable
wood
planks,
and
with
a
few
upright
poles, the pre-con wall and a door frame, I constructed my shed.
This shed worked for me for years, until it got too small !!
I
t
was
probably
around
2010
that
I
extended
the
“shed”
by
adding
on
3
meters
and
also
made
that
section
a
meter
wider
that
the
original
structure.
Put
in
a
door,
some
windows
and
a
grass
roof
-
now it’s a workshop, storeroom and office, all in one.
The
second
photo
was
take
from
about
the
same
spot
that
the
one
above,
just
about
twenty
years
later.
This
is
the
inside,
looking
at
the
back
wall.
The
worktop
is
from
side
to
side,
so
about
6
meters
but
quite
narrow. At this point, it’s fine for me, I don’t need much more. I don’t do large, heavy construction here.
If two speakers are inphase, the sound waves they produce push & pull air
together. This results in a stronger, more focused sound with proper bass.
